Accydoo started with a simple idea: make predicting Premier League results with your mates more fun. We transformed that concept into a complete digital platform where users can create private leagues, make weekly predictions, compete for bragging rights and keep the conversation going throughout the season. From brand and UX through to the web platform, mobile apps and launch strategy, Accydoo was built from the ground up as a scalable consumer product.
Flexible, SEO-ready websites built using WordPress — designed for easy content management and long-term scalability.
Custom Laravel applications built around complex workflows, integrations and business requirements.
Clean, modern interfaces designed to improve usability and conversion.
High-conversion pages built for campaigns, ads and lead generation.
Improving speed, structure and user experience for existing WordPress builds.
Every element of the site was optimised for better search engine rankings.
Football prediction competitions between friends are nothing new, but they're often managed through spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups and manual score calculations. The opportunity was to take that familiar behaviour and create a dedicated experience around it—without losing the simplicity and banter that made the original idea enjoyable. The product also needed to work for very different types of users, from someone casually making predictions once a week to League Captains managing larger private competitions, optional prize pots and member activity.
We designed and developed Accydoo as a complete football prediction ecosystem. Players can create or join private leagues, predict Premier League results each Gameweek and follow their position through dynamic league tables and rankings. Social functionality is built directly into the experience through Team Talk, allowing league members to chat, reply, react and enjoy the banter without moving the conversation to another platform. Premium League Sponsor functionality adds advanced league management features, while Accy Pot enables captains to organise and track optional player contributions without Accydoo collecting or holding the money. The platform was developed as a responsive web application alongside native iOS and Android experiences, creating a consistent product across devices.
Accydoo evolved from a simple football prediction concept into a launch-ready consumer platform spanning web, iOS and Android. The finished product combines weekly Premier League predictions with private leagues, live rankings, social interaction, premium league management and monetisation—all wrapped in a distinctive football-first brand. More importantly, the project established a scalable foundation for Accydoo to grow beyond its initial launch, with the architecture and product experience ready to support new competitions, features, partnerships and revenue opportunities as the audience develops.
